Michigan just keeps winning. This time, they came back from a 13-7 halftime deficit by scoring 16 points in the 3rd quarter and shutting Philadelphia out in that same quarter. Quarterback Bobby Heber threw a touchdown pass to Anthony Carter and likely defensive MVP John Corker recorded a sack lfor a safety.
The loss puts Philadelphia on the outside looking in for a playoff spot as they are now behind Boston by 3 games in the division and 5 behind Chicago for the wildcard spot. The Stars looked strong in the first half to build the lead and then scored only 3 points in the second half.
