Memphis got a home win on Friday afternoon against San Antonio. Quarterback Mike Kelley threw for 223 yards with 3 touchdowns against only one interception. The defense also did their jobs, holding San Antonio to less than 250 yards.
San Antonio’s nightmare of a season continues. The lone bright spot in the game is Rick Neuheisel’s short touchdown throw late in the fourth quarter to avoid another shutout. Unfortunately, he only threw for 148 yards and was the team’s leading rusher with 48.
