Houston Gamblers 45, Michigan Panthers 30

Houston took care of business against division rival Michigan Sunday evening. They put up over 500 yards of offense, including almost 400 from quarterback Jim Kelly. Crazy to consider, but with the year he’s having those yards plus the 3 touchdowns he threw can be counted as simply an average game by the talented rookie.

Michigan QB Bobby Hebert countered with three of his own, including 2 in an attempted 4th quarter comeback. Too little too late and the deficit proved too much to overcome for the Panthers.
