Oakland put some pressure on Los Angeles Saturday night by defeating Denver. Quarterback Fred Besana threw one interception for a touchdown to bring the score to 10-6 in Denver’s advantage. He then threw two touchdowns in the fourth quarter after a rushing touchdown to bring home the win.
That interception provided the only scoring for Denver other than a field goal. Their offense struggled in Oakland, gaining less than 200 yards of total offense. They also turned the ball over 3 times. Neither of those is in the formula for success.
