The Michigan Panthers continued their dominance, rolling over the previously undefeated Invaders. Bobby Hebert became the latest quarterback to throw for 4 touchdowns, including two to Eric Cobb in the first quarter to build a 16-0 lead.
Arizona cut it to 16-6 and looked to take that deficit into halftime before Hebert struck again, this time to Anthony Carter. Michigan piled on with two other touchdowns to put it out of reach. Fred Besana added a garbage time touchdown for the final tally.
