Michigan defeated Pittsburgh in one of the Saturday games this week. Quarterback Bobby Hebert picked up where he left off last year, throwing for five touchdowns against what looked to be one of the best defenses in the leage. The win pushes Michigan’s regular season win streak to 20.
After winning in Oklahoma last week, two road games proved to be too much for the Maulers. Even though they outgained Michigan, the early season trend of turnovers proving costly for teams continued. Quarterback Glenn Carano threw 5 interceptions in the game, sinking Pittsburgh’s chances.
