Arizona Wranglers 31, Las Vegas Ace 0

The Arizona Wranglers secured an easy 31-0 victory over the Las Vegas Ace in Week 11, dominating from the opening drive. Arizona quarterback Vince Evans was stellar, completing 30 of 63 passes for 363 yards and 4 touchdowns. The Wranglers struck fast, scoring three touchdowns in the first quarter, including a 53-yard bomb to Bee Lang. They never let up, adding a field goal in the third and another touchdown late in the fourth to cap off their win. Arizona’s defense also contributed, forcing two turnovers and limiting Las Vegas to just 130 total yards of offense.

Las Vegas struggled to get anything going offensively, with quarterback Jerry Golst completing only 20 of 57 passes for 145 yards and throwing two interceptions. The Ace managed just 22 yards on the ground and were sacked six times, with Golst taking much of the pressure. Their longest drive came in the fourth quarter, but it ultimately stalled on downs at the Arizona 11-yard line. The offensive woes were compounded by missed opportunities and constant pressure from the Wranglers’ defense, leading to a difficult day for Las Vegas.

Defensively, Arizona excelled at shutting down Las Vegas’ passing game, with key performances from Bret Clark, who intercepted a pass, and Bruce Gheesling, who recorded a sack. The Wranglers’ offense, meanwhile, was well-balanced with Evans also contributing 47 yards on the ground. Allen Clark was his favorite target, hauling in 16 catches for 124 yards and a touchdown. Arizona improved to 7-4 with the win, while Las Vegas fell to a league-worst 1-10.
