Houston Gamblers Dominate Chicago Blitz
The Houston Gamblers extended their winning streak to 2-0 with a decisive 48-21 victory over the Chicago Blitz. The Gamblers’ high-powered offense continued to shine, with quarterback Jim Kelly throwing for 377 yards and four touchdowns. Running back James Scott added another dimension to the attack with 118 rushing yards and two scores.
The Chicago Blitz struggled to contain the Gamblers’ offensive onslaught, allowing 527 total yards. The Blitz offense, led by quarterback Steve Landry, managed 405 yards but turned the ball over three times, including two crucial fumbles in the fourth quarter. Despite a late surge, the Blitz couldn’t overcome the early deficit.
The win solidifies Houston’s position as a top contender in the league, while Chicago will need to improve their defensive performance and protect the ball better to find success moving forward.
