New Jersey just keeps winning. After an 0-6 start, they’ve now won 4 in a row after defeating Michigan Sunday afternoon. All three of their offensive stars got into the scoring. Herschel opened with a touchdown, quarterback Brian Sipe added another, and Herschel’s running mate Maurice Carthon ran in two.
In spite of the loss, Michigan remains in the fight for the division and wildcard spot in the Central. They’re in a tight battle with both Chicago and Houston for those playoff berths. They get a chance, against Houston next week, to put some distance.
