
Oakland edged Houston at home on Monday night. They scored on both offense and defense. Three different backs scored a touchdown on the night. Fred Besana added a touchdown pass and the defense returned an interception 77 yards for the final score of the game.
Houston came back to within a touchdown of tying the game. But, Oakland held on in the final 12 minutes for the win. Houston quarterback Jim Kelly who is in the running for rookie of the year and maybe even MVP threw only one touchdown in the game.
