Tampa Bay Bandits 23, Philadelphia Stars 20

Tampa Bay edged Philadelphia Sunday afternoon. The loss is the Stars first of the season. The two teams went back and forth in the whole game and spent most of the fourth quarter tied at 20. Tampa Bay closed out the game with a short drive to set up the game winning field goal.

Running back Kelvin Bryant led the Philly offense with 90 yards and 2 touchdowns. Quarterback Chuck Fusina also threw one touchdown in the game. But, Tampa Bay’s potent offense proved too much in the end. Philadelphia gave up 514 yards to the Bandits, including 46 on the final drive of the game.
