Arizona Wranglers 17, Denver Gold 41

Denver routed Arizona Sunday night in a battle between the two teams. They incorporated a balanced attack. Quarterback Craig Penrose threw for 267 yards and two touchdowns. Their two running backs added 2 touchdowns each. Their defense forced 3 turnovers and held the Wranglers to 246 yards of total offense.

Arizona led late into the first half. Denver then scored 34 unanswered points. Arizona tacked on a late touchdown for the final tally. Denver’s defense proved too strong on this night and held them to only 80 yards rushing in the game.
