South division powerhouses clashed on Monday afternoon ast Tampa Bay edged Birmingham at home. Offense was on full display with both teams gaining over 400 yards in the game. They went back and forth for much of the game with Birmingham taking a 24-9 lead. Tampa bay scored three straight touchdowns to take the lead.
A field goal by Birmingham about midway through the 4th put them down 4 with a chance to take the lead or win the game. When Cliff Stoudt got intercepted in the end zone after a long drive by the Stallions, Tampa Bay merely needed to hold on for the win.
