Oakland Invaders 7, Philadelphia Stars 41

Philadelphia kept rolling with an absolute demolition of Oakland at home on Sunday. They dominated the game on both sides of the ball, outgaining Oakland 373-249. They also caused 7 turnovers and sacked the quarterback 3 times. They came within six minutes of a shutout.

Quarterback Fred Besana, under duress for most of the game, threw a touchdown pass to break the shutout. But it proved way too little, too late as Philadelphia had the game well in hand by then.
