Denver defeated Oklahoma in one of two Saturday games this week. Quarterbak Craig Penrose and running back Harry Sydney both played efficiently, scoring twice in spite of less than stellar yard totals. The Denver defense turned the ball over 4 times.
The offensive woes continue for Oklahoma. After scoring only 10 points against Pittsburgh last week, they managed less than only 17 this wee. Quarterback Doug Williams threw three interceptions and the team ran for less than 100 yards total.
