In a mathup of two of the wrost teams this season, Washington defeated Arizona. Led by quarterback Mike Hohensee, who threw four touchdowns on the game, the Federals pulled ahead of New Jersey in the division. The good news looks to be brief, though, as Washington plays undefeated Michigan next week.
Another frustrating defeat for Arizona, who can’t even look to the first pick of the draft next year since the league is adding 4 expansion teams in the 1984 season. It remains to be seen how long the fans allow themselves to suffer this team before demanding some big changes.
