Philadelphia Stars 10, Boston Breakers 17

Boston outlasted Philadelphia to open up a 3 game lead in the division. The Breakers continued their successful formula of strong defense and just enough offense to get the job done. This time running back Tony Davis found the end zone twice.

Philadelphia cut it to 7 with 4 minutes left in the game. However, they got no closer as Boston’s defense allowed them not a single first down, turning them over twice in the closing minutes of the game.
