Chicago Blitz 16, New Jersey Generals 12

Chicago continued the afternoon of comebacks by pulling out a squeaker against New Jersey Sunday afternoon. Quarterback Greg Landry threw a pass with 23 seconds left in the game to pull out the win. Chicago’s top defense in the league kept it close to allow for the comeback.

In spite of that, MVP candidate Herschel Walker rushed for over 130 yards but failed to score. Quarterback Bobby Scott threw the only touchdown for the Generals but also threw two interceptions. The frustrating season for the Generals continues.
