Boston Breakers 40, Washington Federals 37

Boston won a wild game against division rival Washington on Sunday. They went into the fourth quarter losint 23-13 and into final minutes of the game down by 6 points. Scoring 27 points in that 4th quarter, Tim Mazzetti kicked two field goals in the final two minutes to win the game for the Breakers and keep them in first place in the division.

Both teams threw for over three hundred yards and combined for 850 yards of total offense. Washington almost pulled off the win on the back of backup quarterback Mike Hohensee, who proved to be more than capable of leading the offense. They came up slightly short, though the future looks brighter for the Federals.
