New Jersey Generals 14, Michigan Panthers 20

Michigan built a 20-14 lead against New Jersey in the first half and held on through a scoreless second half to win their 11th straight game. Quarterback Bobby Hebert continued his domination, throwing 3 touchdown passes for all of Michigan’s points. They try to stay perfect against a red hot Stallions team next week.

New Jersey kept the game close behind a touchdown pass by Bobby Scott and a run by Herschel Walker. But, as they have in many games this year, they came up just short of an actual win. Things don’t get any easier next week against the Chicago Blitz.
