Week 10 Wrap Up

Boston and Michigan opened the week with wins to stay in first place in their divisions. Michigan’s win kept them undefeated on the season.It took the NFL several decades to have their first undefeated team. Can the USFL accomplish that feat in year one?

Philadelphia, Oakland, and Chicago all followed with wins on Sunday afternoon and evening. The week concluded with no real surprises as Birmingham took care of New Jersey. The Stallions continue a mid season surge after digging themselves a bit of a hole to begin.

Week 10 Standings

Players of the Week

Offense: Bobby Hebert, QB, Michigan Panthers. Hebert went 21 of 31 on passes with almost 350 yards and 4 touchdowns to lead the Panthers to a record tying scoring performance. The Panthers remained undefeated on the season with the 59-24 victory over Arizona.

Defense: John Corker, OLB, Michigan Panthers. Corker added to his league leading sack total with 2 and forced a fumble on top of 6 tackles in the Panthers win. Unless someone steps up soon, Corker looks to run away with the defensive player of the year.

Special Teams: Tim Mazzetti, K, Boston Breakers. Mazzetti kicked a perfect game, 3-3 on field goals and extra points for 12 points on the week.
