Washington Federals 37, Philadelphia Stars 59

Philadelphia rushed out to a 28-0 lead and exploded for 59 total points (a single game USFL record for a team) on the way to thrash their hapless division rivals, Washington. In a game for the ages, quarterback Chuck Fusina tossed 4 touchdowns and Kelvin Bryant added another 2 on the ground.

Trying to keep up, Washington quarterback Kim McQuilken threw three touchdowns of his own. Washington also scored on a league first kick return for a touchdown and a fumble return for a touchdown. Washington again tries to get their first win next week against Arizona while Philadelphia attempts to keep form against Los Angeles.
