Chicago remained undefeated, beating an injury riddled Tampa Bay Bandits, 31-8. Quarterback Greg Landry tossed 3 first half touchdowns as the Blitz built a 31-0 lead. The Chicago defense harassed backup quarterback Mike Kelley into two interceptions and 4 sacks.
Kelley finally threw a touchdown in the closing seconds to break the offensive shutout. Tampa Bay mustered only a safety as their other score. Chicago looks to keep rolling against Birmingham next week while Tampa Bay draws the Denver Gold.
