Michigan Panthers 27, Washington Federals 23

Michigan stayed undefeated by squeaking by Washington 27-23. They looked to run away with it after two John Williams runs for touchdown. Washington then matched them with two rushes by Craig James and three field goals to go on a 21-0 run.

Michigan cut it to two with another run by quarterback Bobby Hebert. Then, running back Ken Lacy finished it off with less than a minute to play with his own touchdown. As a result, Washington is still searching for that first win of the season. But, they have much more hope after this well played game.
