Los Angeles Express 24, Chicago Blitz 33

Chicago remained undefeated and kept pace with division rival Michigan by winning a shootout against Los Angeles. The Blitz ran away with it in the first half, building an insurmountable 23-3 lead including two touchdown passes by Greg Landry. Landry added a third in the second half.

Los Angles fought valiantly to the end, cutting it to 9 with almost 10 minutes left in the game. But, Chicago closed out the game to win in spite of quarterback Mike Rae matching Landry touchdown for touchdown. In spite of the loss, Los Angeles retains sole possession of the division lead.
