Chicago build a commanding 12-0 lead on field goals in the first half before exploding for 24 points in the second half behind two more touchdowns from the red hot QB Greg Landry. Don Schwartz added an interception return to close out the scoring for Chicago.
Denver, again, struggled on offense. To make matters worse, the Craig Penrose experiment ended before it really started, with the new starter sustaining an injury in the game. The difference in this game is that they also faced one of the top offenses in the league and it showed. Chicago amassed nearly 400 yards of total offense in the game.
