Boston routed their East division rivals Washington, racing out to a 28-3 first half lead. Quarterback Johnny Walton accounted for three of Boston’s first four touchdowns, including two to WR Charlie Smith. Running Back Richard Crump also scored twice in the game.
Craig James scored twice for Washington, once on a run and once on a pass. But Boston otherwise dominated both sides of the ball, wracking up over 400 yards of offense while holding Washington under 300, including less than 50 yards rushing.
