Another unintended hiatus of over a month. But, plans and motivation to get this thing going and finished, starting with Jurassic Park Episode 4. The action is starting to finally pick up a bit with the start of the tour and I think another couple of episodes will bring us into the real shit, so to speak.
Give it a listen and let me know what you think. What did I do right? What can be improved? I want to make this work and take constructive criticism well. With no additional delay, download and listen to Jurassic Park Episode 4. I can’t wait to hear what you think.
I have the next two (maybe more) books planned for the podcast. A week or so ago, I picked up a fantasy book called “The Poppy War” at the local book store, so I will do that one next. After that, I ordered the 3rd book in the Dragonlance series, which comes in August. If need be, I’ll find something to fill in the gaps between those two.
Note: If you want to read along, find a copy at your local (or multinational conglomerate) book store to purchase and add to the conversation. I hope you enjoy my return to the podcasting arena and I look forward to bringing more content as time allows over the next few months.
Right now the show is just weekly. I’m still figuring out how to make everything work so that I can release two a week like I used to. But, for now, enjoy Jurassic Park Episode 3. This show covers the final chapters of the Second Iteration. They introduce the rest of the primary characters, including the dinosaurs.

I might already have another book to continue this podcast. Christine keeps mentioning that she has books for me to read and use on the show. I love that everyone in my life already supports me in these silly ventures. Eventually, I’ll find my wider audience.

Are we still doing this? Absolutely! In spite of a two month layoff, we are back with Jurassic Park Episode 2. In this episode, I pick up where I left off two months ago. If you forget where that is, go back and listen to that episode. I’ll give you time and will still be back here when you return. Back? Great. Now…

After finishing up Dragons of Fate earlier this week, we present the new series with Jurassic Park Episode 1. In this episode, I cover the introduction, prologue, and first iteration. I also talk some about reviewing a 30 year old book and movie, my history with Michael Chrichton books and my thoughts about the science in the books. Then I talk about my least and most liked in the book.

A bit late on the finale, Dragons of Fate Episode 13. But, I am extremely busy right now and I don’t see myself getting any less busy until at least January. So, for now, enjoy this one and get ready for Jurassic Park this weekend. All I will say here is great ending to a great book. Can’t wait for the next one.

I chose my next book for Noob’s Book Club. Quinn loves Jurassic Park and he asked for the novels. I planned to buy them for Christmas, but Christine got them. As he read, he told me about the books. I last read them when the movie came out, 30 years ago. I forget much of what was in the book, so I plan to read that one next in the series.

The penultimate episode arrives on time! After losing a couple of weeks and then running a bit behind schedule, I’m back on track with Dragons of Fate Episode 12. I greet the end of this series with both joy and sadness. I love how good the ending of this book is, but now I have to wait for the next one. Oh well, Jurassic Park will get me through a couple of months, at least.

A cancelled nerd date and recording session means no Spooktober episode of 2 Guys Gaming this week. We now plan to record next Sunday and release it the week of Halloween. Therefore, you get to extend your holiday by a couple of days. That’s what I like to do anyway. In any case, we never sleep here at 2 Generations gaming and I recorded Dragons of Fate Episode 11. Only two more episodes until the book is done!

After a bout with Covid, a busy homecoming week, and a week spent trying to get everything back in order around here, I return with Dragons of Fate Episode 10. After a great few chapters covered in the previous episode, Weis and Hickman continue to dial it up to 11 in this book. I apologize for taking so long to get this episode out. Because, so much is going on right now!

A day late (but not a dollar short). Better late than never, as they say. Dragons of Fate Episode 9 starts to reveal that history has been changed, but that effect on the future (present?) remains to be seen. In this episode, I explore my relationship with a fictional character some. Raistlin used to be my favorite (before he went off the deep end), but in this series, Magius wins out. Episode 10 on Wednesday. Only 4 episodes left!

The new Wednesday/Saturday schedule works out great. Dragons of Fate Episode 8 releases on time. I don’t see any reason why the last five episodes won’t be equally as punctual. Things are moving at a rapid pace now and I will miss this book when it’s gone. But, I remember liking Jurassic Park a lot when I was younger, so that one will soothe me for a bit. Hoping for an announcement about the next one in this series soon.
