Well, Dragons of Deceit Episode 13 comes after one heck of a cliffhanger. I bet you thought I gave up, right? Nope, just a busy weekend. First I recap a good chapter after the lame previous one. Then, I talk about my weekend to explain before giving my thoughts on the chapter. Come back Wednesday (for sure) for Chapter 16 and Friday for Chapter 17. See you then.
Give it a listen and let me know what you think. What did I do right? What can be improved? I want to make this work and take constructive criticism well. With no additional delay, download and listen to Dragons of Deceit Episode 13. I can’t wait to hear what you think.
Note: If you want to read along, find a copy at your local (or multinational conglomerate) book store to purchase and add to the conversation. I hope you enjoy my return to the podcasting arena and I look forward to bringing more content as time allows over the next few months. Also, I know we have time until I get there, but I am taking suggestions for the next book in the book club. Fantasy, science fiction, based on gaming. Any of those genres work in the context of the page’s overall theme. Depending on how long it takes, some horror can be a possibility, too. For some other context, I also like to read Brandon Sanderson, but am open to most suggestion.
Second Note: As of right now, I think the next book in the series will be Ready Player One. I never read it and I saw it in one of my kid’s backpack. Once I plan out the rest of this book and take a look, I will know better if I can finish it before August when the next Dragonlance book comes out.
Dragons of Deceit Episode 12 will leave you again wondering if this guy is even a fan of Dragonlance or Weis and Hickman at all. A frustrating chapter after it started to feel again like the book was getting good. So, to leave you on a cliffhanger, come back on Friday to see if I continue this series or not.

After another late episode, I recorded Dragons of Deceit Episode 11 piggy back with the last one to ensure that it released on time. Since these chapters are short, this is a shorter episode, too. In any case, I will be back on Wednesday with Episode 12 and Friday with Episode 13. I still don’t know how I am going to approach break next week, but there will be at least two more episodes then.

After a few episodes on time, we return to our late ways this week. I feel like I have a valid excuse, though. On Thursday, I ended up shuttling two kids to soccer on Thursday. I still read the chapter and took notes, but had no time to record last night. So, Dragons of Deceit Episode 10 comes out a few days late. It makes it no better, but we are all used to it by now, right? I promise that by the end of this series, I will figure out the schedule issues. After all, we leave for school break the week after next.

On time for this one. Dragons of Deceit episode 9 brings a needed change of pace in Chapter 11. Besides, where else will you get a discussion of Back to the Future, Avengers: Endgame, and Quantum Leap all in one place. Probably a bunch of podcasts and web pages, but only this one has yours truly!

Late again but then on time after the reschedule this time! Some errata in the introduction of this episode. Then, we finish the prologue book with Dragons of Deceit Episode 8 of Noob’s Book Club. I plan to write my review of the new MTG set, which takes up Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Therefore, look for Chapter 11 on Tuesday and Chapter 12 on Thursday.

Hey, on time this time! But, I screwed up the name of the book in the introduction. Oh well, it is Dragons of Deceit Episode 6 of Noob’s Book Club. We cover Chapter 8 and are actually back on schedule to finish Book 1 by Friday. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Episode 7 with Chapter 9 on Wednesday and Episode 8 with Chapter 10 on Friday.

Yes, late again. This weekend, we watched our niece in Willy Wonka Jr., went for an hour and a half snow shoe with the dog (got a little lost), watched a comedy show to help raise funds for Liam’s prom, went to the annual train show at the Big E and took Liam and Quinn to play practice. It’s always one weekend a month or so that is absolutely bonkers. Nevertheless, Dragons of Deceit Episode 5 is live.

Yes, late again. But, even though I needed to record the episode again, I still recorded, edited, and released it more or less in the range of possibilities. Dragons of Deceit Episode 4 is live. My allergies are in an uproar, so I apologize a bit for the sound quality

In keeping with tradition, I promised Dragons of Deceit episode 3 on Thursday of this week. The episode explains why it delayed until today. It also gives an updated schedule since I covered both chapters 4 and 5 in this one.
