Another of our patented unscheduled two week hiatuses done and I’m back with Jurassic Park Episode 14. As a result of the time off, I updated the schedule. I should still be able to get through all of the books, just at different times than expected. In this episode, I start the sixth iteration. While they tranq’d Big Rex, the velociraptors wreak havoc on the park. Dr. Grant goes out to turn the power back on and a major character in now RIP in pieces.
Give it a listen and let me know what you think. What did I do right? What can be improved? I want to make this work and take constructive criticism well. With no additional delay, download and listen to Jurassic Park Episode 14. I can’t wait to hear what you think.
The Schedule (for the rest of the year, pending changes if necessary):
“Jurassic Park” – Finish by the beginning of June
“The Poppy War” – June/July
“Dragons of Destiny” – August
“The Dragon Republic” – September
“Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein” – Halloween Season
“The Burning God” – November
“Dune” – December
Note: The schedule may change due to only being able to update twice a week until the end of the school year.

Back to the helter skelter schedule. But, crazy things happened at school last week and I suffered from low energy (said in a Trump voice). But, I’m finally back with Jurassic Park Episode 13. I struggle with the possibility of hero worship gone wrong and try to come to terms with that struggle. Man, getting older stinks.

Jurassic Park Episode 12 comes on time. Even though it’s the shortest episode, it is absolutely the best chapter in the book so far. Most of the time, I talk about how much I enjoyed the chapter. However, given the format where I talk about what I “liked least”, I spend some of the episode recovering from that. Can I make it three in a row on time and three this week? Come back this weekend to find out.

Fallout Episode 2 took precedence. And, so, Jurassic Park Episode 11 comes out a little later than expected. But, it still comes out with a glimmer of hope that I keep the schedule below and get to read both The Poppy War and The Dragon Republic before August. Stay tuned to see if it actually happens! In this episode, we talk about regulation and then if Dr. Grant is more or less heroic in the book or movie.

While technically late, I take credit for delivering Jurassic Park Episode 10 on time. I resigned myself to only being able to update twice a week until the end of school. This may require a reworking of the rest of the year schedule. For now, I’ll keep it as is and reassess when school lets out. For now, enjoy the end of the fourth iteration. Things continue to be very good.

Slightly more on schedule with Jurassic Park Episode 9. A day late, which throws things into a bit of chaos. But, that’s okay. I adjusted the schedule accordingly to keep with the schedule below. This episode has a bit of a lull in the action, but that’s okay. We need the break. Plus, next section ends the fourth iteration, so there’s sure to be fun. Be sure to come back in a couple of days to join in that fun with me.

I’m Shawn, Noob of All Trades, and it has been a week since my last confession. You can tell I really like that joke, no matter how lame it actually is. I am a week or so late with Jurassic Park Episode 8. Things got crazy at school and I came home to nap most afternoons last week. Hopefully I can still get this one done in a few weeks and start the Poppy War in May. I have a schedule to make it happen. Join me to see if it works out.
Note: I needed to rerecord about 30 seconds at the 6:50 mark.

Told you I was back on track with the last episode. Once I post this for Jurassic Park Episode 7, it’s on to write the notes for Episode 8 to have that out by Tuesday. I also put together a tentative schedule for the rest of the year to keep me honest. If you have any other ideas for books, let me know in the comments or send an email.

Another unintended 2 week hiatus and an episode that’s shorter than 10 minutes. What the hell is this guy up to? I have no idea. I just came to the conclusion that March is a tough month for me for some reason. But, here is Jurassic Park Episode 6.

I have the next two (maybe more) books planned for the podcast. A week or so ago, I picked up a fantasy book called “The Poppy War” at the local book store, so I will do that one next. After that, I should have time to do the second book in that series. Then, I ordered the 3rd book in the Dragonlance series, which comes in August.

We got our floors finished and had to move the china cabinet. It got put in front of the computer that I usually use for editing, so things got a little behind. But, less than a week passed between the previous episode and Jurassic Park Episode 5. But, now, I plan to release three episodes a week until completion. Then, on to the next book in the series. See below for an explanation
